Communication gets simpler, cheaper - 26th Oct 2007
Microsoft has launched Unified Communications software that would help companies streamline workplace communications. Using this software, employees would be able to communicate through emails, phone call, instant messaging and video conference in an efficient manner using a PC. cellphone or a public phone. The VoIP (voice over Internet protocol) software would also help companies control costs by using a combination of the Internet and existing telephone facilities.
